The Day I Walked Into Stone Age 2
Consciousness Crystals and the Capacity for Love
Love can deepen understanding in ways solitary practice cannot. As my relationship with Shona unfolded, my perception of crystals and consciousness began to expand beyond what I had previously known.
What followed was not dramatic or exaggerated. It was gradual and steady, shaped by conversation, shared curiosity and the willingness to look more closely at both the seen and unseen aspects of experience.
A Wider Understanding
Before meeting Shona, my work with crystals centred primarily on resonance. I understood how different formations influenced the energetic field around me and how certain stones altered my internal state. That relationship was direct and experiential.
Her approach reached further. She spoke about certain crystals as carrying histories that extended through Lemuria and Atlantis, through civilisations that had worked with them ceremonially as well as practically. To her, they were not simply energetic tools but conscious participants in a much longer journey.
As we talked, those ideas began to align with sensations I had previously struggled to explain. What had once felt intuitive now had language around it, and that language expanded rather than replaced my own experience.

Lemuria and Atlantis Revisited
In our conversations, Lemuria represented sacred partnership. Crystals were not objects to use, but allies within collective ceremony. Atlantis, by contrast, held the memory of division, where scientific ambition separated from spiritual responsibility and crystals became central to both innovation and destruction.
These perspectives did not feel like abstract mythology to me. They resonated with a quiet familiarity that surfaced during meditation and reflection. Instead of dismissing them, I began exploring what they meant within my own inner landscape.
The more I considered those narratives, the more I recognised how they mirrored present human patterns, particularly the tension between power and wisdom.
Learning the Architecture of Self
Shona introduced me to the work of Concept Synergy, which examined the human psyche with clarity and structure. Through guided meditations, I began studying my own ego not as something to suppress, but as architecture to understand.
My shadow shifted from being an adversary into stored experience waiting for integration. Rather than trying to eliminate parts of myself, I started observing them with curiosity. That shift created steadiness, and it deepened my capacity to remain present in both healing work and relationship.
This framework did not remove mystery from my journey. Instead, it provided grounding, allowing exploration without losing balance.

The Seminar and the Smoky Quartz
At a seminar in the United States, I stood before a long table filled with crystals unlike any I had encountered before. During breaks, I returned repeatedly, drawn not by curiosity alone but by recognition.
One crystal in particular, which I now use in creating vibrational essences, felt immediately familiar. Later, I encountered a large raw smoky double terminated crystal that carried a similar sense of continuity. Although it was beyond my budget, I found myself returning to it until I eventually arranged to purchase it in stages.
When it arrived with documentation describing its ceremonial use in Lemuria, holding it felt less like acquisition and more like continuation, as though something unfinished had resumed.
The Depth of Love and Its Limits
As this expansion unfolded, so did my love for Shona. Our connection remained steady and transparent. We spoke openly about fears, experiences and evolving awareness without needing to defend our perspectives.
I had loved before, yet this degree of openness felt new. At the same time, I became aware of subtle insecurities that still lingered within me. Old anxiety had quietened but not disappeared.
Gradually, I recognised that I was not yet able to sustain the depth she embodied. There was no dramatic ending, only a gentle acknowledgement that I still had growth ahead of me. Glastonbury revealed both my capacity for love and the areas where I was not yet fully ready to hold it.
